AMANA, IOWA Noe's: They were part of the Amana Colonies, a social-religious group of people that remind some people of the Amish.  There is (or was) a Noe House Inn down there. The house is still there, but is now used as a shop.  Ilene Noe Kreider 9/19/98 (233)

James Money, b. 1723, Kentucky Pioneer and Randall Noe were good friends, business acquaintances (partners in some instances) and neighbors with Daniel Boone. James served as a Scout for Daniel Boone.
